Buy NZ Made champions New Zealand businesses by licensing the iconic Kiwi trademark, representing over 1200 locally owned and operated brands. When their leadership team changed in 2021, they needed new business cards something sharp, on-brand and built to last. As proud long-time campaign members and trusted print supplier to them, they turned to us to bring that vision to life.

We laid out the graphics and printed a set of 90 x 55mm cards on sturdy 350gsm Silk Matt stock. Then we then added a scuff-resistant matte laminate to protect them from wear. The finishing touch? A bold spot UV varnish applied, glossing the NZ Made icon and subtle typographic lines directly onto cards unrprined background. This created a sharp contrast between the high-gloss elements and the matte background, a crisp white-on-white effect that feels premium and looks even better in hand.

This wasn’t a finish we’d done before, with no samples to share and no guarantees. But the Buy NZ Made team trusted our eye for detail. That calculated risk paid off. The result? Striking business cards that honour an iconic brand, and hold up beautifully out in the real world.
