Printing Debossed Menu Stock for Kisa Restaurant
When the team behind Kisa opened their Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant on Cuba Street, they needed menus that matched the premium dining experience. Having worked with us before, they trusted us to deliver something that felt refined, sustainable and flexible enough for the fast-moving hospitality industry.
We produced a large run of custom menu stock on 250gsm Eco-100 recycled paper, offset-printed in Pantone 458 — a warm Pantone chosen by their designer to align with Kisa’s branding. Each sheet was then deeply debossed using precision-machined metal blocks, creating a tactile finish that diners can feel the moment they pick up the menu.
Debossing at this scale is usually impractical for restaurants that update menus often. To solve this, we split the process: one bulk run (20,000 sheets) of premium debossed stock to keep costs low and weekly digital overprinting on our Konica Minolta AccurioPress to keep Kisa’s evolving menu current. The result — premium craftsmanship paired with real-world efficiency.
This approach gives Kisa the best of both worlds: the elegance of a premium finish and the flexibility to adapt quickly without waste. It’s smart print strategy in action.
