When Wellington-based comms agency Phillips & Partners needed a high-quality printed piece for their client Grochem, they came straight to us. Known for managing social and strategic messaging for NZ businesses, the team at Phillips & Partners were after something tangible, an A4, custom-designed notebook that would celebrate Grochem’s work and leave a lasting impression with clients and stakeholders. With over 250 pages, this wasn’t just a throwaway promo item, it was designed to leave a mark.

We worked closely with Phillips & Partners to bring the concept to life, producing 200 copies of the 258-page notebook. Each was bound with heavy-duty white wiro for durability, and featured full-colour marketing inserts printed on 240gsm Advance Laser stock. The internal pages, printed crisp and clean in black on 120gsm Advance Laser, perfect for writing and longevity. Covers were printed double-sided on 400gsm Silk Matt, finished with a premium matt laminate to protect the books through heavy use.

Wiro-binding something this thick isn’t easy, but with heavy 2:1 gauge wire, we made it work without compromising quality. These notebooks weren’t just printed, they were engineered for daily use in the real world.
